Typerän työn herätyskokous event
When
03-04/2025
Description
I was the producer for “Typerän työn herätyskokous”/ “Wake‑Up Call to Silly Work,” a free afternoon event hosted by Typeryyden Akatemia & Flow Akatemia. The event was a full 90 minutes of experiential content aimed at confronting the absurdities embedded in modern work culture. Held at Bio Rex Lasipalatsi (streamed live for broader access), the event was designed to awaken attendees to the pervasiveness of “silly work” through humor, satire, and reflective commentary. The event reached +400 attendees and created a lot of buzz.
The event was entirely organised by a two-person team in just one month. While Jussi Venäläinen, the CEO and the face of Typeryyden akatemia, was in charge of the written event content, I was in charge of everything else. I crafted the event concept around the “wake-up call” idea, which was visible in copywriting, graphic design, social media content, and the event content itself. I was immersed in numerous other responsibilities: contacting sponsors, designing guerilla marketing, shooting social media content, and crafting landing pages in WebFlow.
