Description
Happy Christmas Calendar is a tool for creating and sending custom Christmas calendars to your loved ones. As the creator, you’re able to personalize each magical door with your own text, images, or videos. A handy calendar tool lets you preview and test each day’s content to make sure everything works just right. The calendar is simple to use—for anyone. As a recipient, all you need to do is click a link, pick an available door, and open it—just like a real Christmas calendar.
Happy Christmas Calendar was my first “vibe coding” project—and my first solo digital product. The site was built with Lovable. I kicked things off by drafting a Product Requirements Document with help from ChatGPT-5. From there, bringing the idea to life became an iterative loop of reprompting, debugging, and fine-tuning. In total, the project took me roughly 10 hours.
With this project, I wanted to see if I could build a clear, usable MVP through vibe coding alone. As someone who doesn’t code, this was a bit of a game-changer. I was able to prototype actual functionality without involving developers. The iterative nature of vibe coding helped me spot which features needed more design attention and gave me sharper insight into the product’s overall direction.
Of course, turning this into a fully commercial product would require actual dev work. But vibe coding got me far enough to demo the idea—and that’s already a big win. It’s a vital step for pitching the concept further. Hence: game-changer.
